For two years running, 826 Valencia has partnered with the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and Bessie Carmichael Elementary to produce collections of riddle poems written by the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classes. Students pick a food, and then write a poem from that food's point of view. Readers can try to guess the food, or read the answer at the bottom of the page.
This bundle includes all three volumes from 2018: Fresh As a New Sunrise, You're So Happy, I Fly, and Fresh As A New Song. Comes in PDF format, for perusal on your favorite glowing rectangle.
